About PGA Türkiye
PGA Türkiye (Professional Golfers Association Türkiye) is the professional organization representing golf instructors and professional golfers in Türkiye. Our mission is to promote professional development, deliver education in line with international standards, and contribute to the sustainable growth of golf throughout the country.
Our objectives are to support the continuous development of golf professionals, contribute to the careers of professional players, organize national and international tournaments, and help shape the future of Turkish golf.
Membership Categories
PGA Türkiye membership is structured under three main categories.
Golf Professional
This category is designed for active golf instructors working at golf clubs who hold a Level 2 or Level 3 coaching certificate approved by the Turkish Golf Federation.
Members in this category:
- Participate in PGA Türkiye education programmes.
- Take an active role in professional development activities.
- May serve in official tournament duties.
- Officially represent PGA Türkiye at events and organizations.
Assistant Pro
This category is intended for coaches who are not currently employed at a golf club but wish to continue their professional development.
Assistant Pro members:
- Focus on player development.
- Participate in educational seminars.
- Are regularly evaluated throughout their development process.
- May become full Golf Professional members once they begin working actively at a golf club.
Professional Player
This category is open to professional golfers and former national team players who have progressed through the competitive golf pathway.
Professional Player members:
- May participate in PGA Türkiye events.
- Can compete in tournaments organized in cooperation with the Turkish Golf Federation.
- Benefit from performance development programmes.
- Participate in educational activities designed to support their professional careers.
Membership Requirements for Golf Professionals
Applicants wishing to join PGA Türkiye as a Golf Professional or Assistant Pro must meet the following requirements.
Certification
Applicants must hold:
- A minimum of a Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 coaching certificate.
- Certification approved by the Turkish Golf Federation.
Active Employment
Applicants must currently be working as a golf instructor at an active golf club.
Important Information
- As of 2026, membership applications from candidates who do not meet the required criteria will not be accepted.
- Educational programmes and seminars will continue through 2027 to support members’ professional development.
- Level 1 Assistant Coaches may become eligible for membership once they are employed by an active golf club.
Membership Requirements for Professional Players
Handicap Requirement
Applicants must:
- Hold an active official handicap.
- Have a maximum handicap of 5.0.
Application Process
- Players with a handicap of 5.0 or lower may become members upon approval by the PGA Türkiye Board of Directors.
- Players with handicaps above 5.0 will be considered amateur golfers and may reapply after one year.
PGA Türkiye Education Programmes
PGA Türkiye has developed a sustainable education system inspired by the leading PGA education models across Europe while adapting them to the needs of Turkish golf.
Through this programme, golf professionals will:
- Improve their technical knowledge.
- Learn modern coaching methodologies.
- Receive education aligned with international standards.
- Benefit from continuous professional development opportunities.
Education Schedule
The education programme consists of three phases.
Phase One
Preparation and development of the education programme.
Phase Two
Programme implementation.
Course dates will be announced through PGA Türkiye’s official communication channels.
Phase Three
Long-term education planning.
Additional programmes and new educational content will be announced officially.
PGA Türkiye Golf Seminar – November 2026
A special educational seminar will be held in November 2026, led by an internationally recognized PGA Certified Head Coach.

2026 Membership Information

TRY 10,000
Members with Outstanding Fees
Members who fail to pay their annual membership fee on time will not be eligible to:
- Serve in PGA Türkiye events.
- Participate in TPGA tournaments.
- Benefit from membership privileges.
Membership Payment Process
Applicants who meet the membership criteria must submit their applications via WhatsApp.

This event is exclusively for professional golfers.
The official tournament date will be announced through PGA Türkiye communication channels.
Following the tournament, the PGA Türkiye Education & Awards Gala will be held.
Prize funds for each tournament will be announced before the respective event.
